Product Details & Description

Kverneland Optima V is a universal pneumatic precision drill developed for maize, sunflowers, field beans, sugar beet, soya beans, peas and many other different seed types.

The row spacing can be adjusted quickly and practically thanks to the hydraulic variable telescopic frame system. It is especially developed for professional farmers and contractors who need to adapt quickly to different sowing needs.

Available in 6, 6+1 and 8 row versions, the Optima V allows row spacing to be adjusted with 5 cm precision.

Precise Seed Placement in Every Soil Condition

The Kverneland Optima precision sowing system has been developed aiming for maximum emergence rate and high yield.

The advanced sowing units precisely follow the field surface, while the special coulter structure creates a clean sowing bed. Thanks to this system:

  • Strong root structure,
  • Balanced crop formation is achieved.

HD-II Universal Sowing Unit

Optima V is equipped with the universal HD-II row unit and offers high performance in different agricultural systems.

Smart Farming with ISOBUS Technology

The Optima e-drive II system is fully compatible with the Kverneland Tellus terminal via the ISOBUS infrastructure.

Thanks to the GPS-supported GEOCONTROL system, each sowing unit opens or closes automatically at the right moment. Thus:

  • Overlapping sowing is prevented,
  • Blank spaces do not occur,
  • Seed waste is reduced,
  • Maximum precision is achieved.

GEOSEED Technology

With the GEOSEED system, seeds are positioned synchronously in relation to each other not only on the row, but across the entire working width.
