iXtra LiFe front tank as universal row crop sprayer.
The ISOBUS compatible iXtra LiFe front tank offers many possibilities for different applications with different implements. For example with the Kverneland Optima precision seeder that ensures that seeds are sown at the right place and applies the correct amount of liquid fertiliser at the same time. For the best start of the crop, the liquid fertiliser is placed close to the seed and row of the precision seeder. The smart electronics on both seeder and front tank communicate, so the application starts and stops together with each individual row. With the stricter fertilisation legislation an efficient nutrient application is key to reduce the total amount of fertiliser. Row fertilisation is a way to increase efficiency and save money due to a better placement of the fertiliser.
The iXtra LiFe is the ISOBUS multipurpose sprayer without a boom. Because it has it‘s own complete spraying system including ISOBUS electronics and section valves it can work standalone or together with other implements like seeders, planters, hoes and cultivators. With a result for more precise application as band spraying or targeted to the fertiliser, which will reduce the application rate and will reduce the amount of fertiliser. The iXtra LiFe sprayer can be used in combination with a lot of different arable machinery. The available iXtra LiFe equipment is prepared for targeted (zonal) application of different products e.g. liquid fertiliser, pesticides, pickling agents, bacteria, inoculants or other products.
